Customized Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E). Each core subject consists of 12 PACEs per level (grade). Most students complete at least 70 PACEs per year while maintaining academic balance by completing about the same number of PACEs in each assigned subjec
To assess student progress, LCA uses student check-ups, self tests, supervisor spot checks and evaluations of classroom work. Customized ACE curriculum is also imbedded with personal responsibility requirements that are rewarded with a vibrant merit system in tangible ways.
Lael Christian Academy uses A.C.E. PACE system for academic instruction. A.C.E. has taken the conventional style textbook and divided it into bite-sized, achievable worktexts called PACEs. Thus each PACE is comparable to a unit in a textbook. Each level (grade) consists of 12 PACEs in a subject. PACEs integrate Godly character-building lessons into the academic content, and self-instructional activities are carefully designed to develop thinking skills resulting in creative mastery learning. With minimal assistance, PACEs allow students to absorb subject material according to their own learning ability rather than being pushed forward or held back by their age, group or grade. Academic progression is therefore, determined by mastery of content rather than academic calendar. A student may move faster or slower depending on learning ability.
Please Note: LCA promotes academic balance and encourages self-pacing, but does not recommend excessive acceleration as it is generally observed that the ability to effectively retain content is significantly reduced with speedy learning.

Drama is a big part of the academics because it helps students gain confidence necessary to excel in their academic career. We focus on diction, eye contact, volume, communication, expression of emotion, and storytelling
Speech:
Students are rigorously trained and encouraged to express themselves through PACEs and by practicing through participation in Chapel speaking, church preaching, and presenting projects before peers in class.
Physical Education:
Our physical education program teaches sports skills, provides physical activities, and gives students tools for a healthy, active lifestyle. Since mind and soul find expression through the body, both mental and spiritual vigor are to the greatest degree dependent upon physical strength and activity
